Ladies, Plums are ripe for picking.
Yes, we could be talking about those juicy, fruity plums, but what we're on about this morning is a stunning new brand called Plum - a range of absolutely exquisite handcrafted accessories for all our Yummy Mummys out there.
Plum, according to designer Kate Price, is all about mums. Not only does she head it with her own mum, Trish Royds, but each item in the range has been lovingly created alongside other mums with their precious tots in mind. (Psst... And there's a Num Num in it for you too at the end of the article!)
But the most important mums involved in the project are the Lesotho ladies who apply their keen talent and eye for colour to embroider the gorgeous designs created by Trish and Kate. Which means that every time you pack your Plum Swing Bag, or slip your laptop into a Plum Trish original, you're helping out another family - and we reckon that when glam does good, we're all for it.
And Plum really is glam.
We're not talking Afro-kitsch beaded guineafowl and bushveld scenes - after all, we're not tourists. If a Bird is hanging anything around her neck it should preferably be tanzanite, and not a camera. And whatever we carry on our wings must be pretty and perfect, and Plum's contemporary look certainly fits the bill with colourful designs to suit every mood.
