As Birdies, it kinda goes without saying that we love animals.
Even when we come home to carved kitty-claw patterns on our favourite couch or yet another pair of strappy sandals has found its way into puppy’s mouth, all it takes one fluffy hug or slobbery kiss to forgive and forget all.
After all, it just gives us another reason to go shoe shopping, which is really rather nice.
And because life is about spoiling our best friends, we’re absolutely delighted to have discovered A Pet’s Life.co.za, an online pet store that’s stocked with everything you could possibly need to create your pet’s paradise... But make no mistake ladies: this is hardly a Russian mail order bride service; it’s strictly accessories and products only. (There’s also a super Birdy Num Num for you gals at the end of the article)
The Website was started by pet lovers and online marketing experts Tracy Ramsay and Kirsten Lynch, after Kirsten discovered that she was battling to find products to keep her dog entertained and occupied – until she went online, that is. International companies have a host of treats, toys and practical products for animals, so Tracy and Kirsten realised that they could solve a lot of animal lovers’ problems by making those same products available here.
It’s not just Fluffy and Fido that the site caters for. There’s something for literally every pet owner, from horses to hamsters, rabbits, fish and even monkeys. And the range of products is just as varied: yes, you’ll find food, but there are also glamorous doggie outfits (watch out Tinkerbell, your days as the canine answer to Sienna are numbered) and really useful items like booties for dogs with injured paws, doggie life jackets and anti-bark collars.
A Pet’s Life is just as friendly to people as animals – if the site doesn’t stock a specific item, Tracy and Kirsten will help you hunt it down. And the gals really go the extra mile – they’ve even delivered rugby jerseys to some of the Springboks’ furrier fans in the UK.
